Workshops relevant to Bowen Practitioners
Sports Injury 1 Workshops
Sports Injury Level 1 (Fully practical hands-on workshop) Sports play a huge role in today's society with many individuals participating from the amateur to the professional. Consequently, far more injuries are occurring and presenting themselves to you in your Bowen clinic. The level one course will help you with the following areas to help you look at the body systemically and dynamically.
· Anatomical injury, looking at mechanism and physiology
· Introduction to core stability and what this means anatomically and in training.
· Reactive and preventative treatment using Bowen.
· The latest knowledge on the treatment of acute injury.
· Introduction to video analysis to observe the sports player in action.
· The role of the coach and how to work with them to have the sports player rehabilitated effectively.
· Introduction to rehabilitation programmes
Sports Injury 2 Workshops
Level two develops on level one and bring in case histories, working with a live sports environment, exercise physiology and specific rehabilitation programmes for the individual.
