	The European College of Bowen Studies (E.C.B.S.) is based in Somerset England, the two directors Julian Baker and Louise Atwill, have been responsible for the growth of the Bowen technique within Europe.
	The FHT is a non-profit making organisation who by setting industry standards, ensure best practice for Therapists and their clients. No other UK association has influenced the acceptance of Complementary Therapies in the UK
	The B.C.M.A. supports and protects the integrity of its therapists, ensures the protection and well-being of their clients, and the high quality standards with which Complementary Medicine is delivered to the public.
	The Association was founded in 1988 in order to promote therapies that can be termed light touch - all the gentle techniques which help the body to heal itself- and to speak for the many less well-known therapies.
